Auditions

Our video auditions are open all year! In-person auditions run in late September or early October

No formal training? No problem. If you’ve got passion, pitch, and the urge to slay a mashup, come try out. We’re looking for fresh voices, unique energy, and people who want to grow as performers. We hold auditions at the start of term and throughout the year. It’s super simple — here’s what you need to do:

• Choose a song in any style (e.g. pop, classical, musical theatre, soul or rock) to show off your range and personality.
  • 👉 No backing tracks – we want to hear you!
  • 🎥 Use your phone’s mic & camera (no headphones or AirPods – they mess with the sound quality).
• Use this vocal range finder to work out your range – but don’t overdo it! No need to push your voice too hard. Just sing through comfortably and note the lowest and highest notes you can hit.
• If you’re a VP/beatboxer, record two short clips showing off different styles (e.g. classic beatboxing vs jazzy rhythms).
  • 🎤 Doing both VP and singing? Just send one song and one VP piece – we’ve got you.
