Welcome to the Echotones.

Whether you’re a fresher looking for your first society, a musical theatre nerd who lives for the spotlight, or a bedroom-belter finally ready to go public – we want YOU to audition for Echotones, the University of Nottingham’s most energetic, competitive, and orange-powered a cappella group.

Who are we?

Echotones is a high-energy, low-ego a cappella group based at the University of Nottingham. We’re a passionate student music society built around tight harmonies, killer performances, and the occasional vocal breakdown (musically, not emotionally… usually).

What do we do?

• Have LOTS of socials
• Perform across campus and beyond
• Complete nationally at events like the ICCAs (yes… the one in pitch perfect)
• Sing… a lot
• Welcome all voice parts

You don’t need any singing experience at all to join the Echotones!

• Learn vocal arranging from an actual music lecturer who teaches at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (we have our contacts…)
