Non-Student Membership

This membership provides access to Echotones as part of its operation under the National Society for Education, Mentoring, and Media (NSEMM). Echotones is governed in accordance with the constitution of NSEMM and functions as a trading name of the charity.

By becoming a Non-Student Member:

• You are formally joining NSEMM for 12 months from the date of purchase, which oversees Echotones’ activities and ensures alignment with its charitable aims outlined in the Constitution.
• You gain eligibility to participate fully in Echotones rehearsals, performances, and related activities as a recognised member of the group.
• Membership complies with the governance requirements for non-student participation in Echotones, including adherence to relevant policies for group operations and competition eligibility.

This membership is distinct from university or Students’ Union affiliation. Echotones primarily consists of full-time students who are also members of the University of Nottingham A Cappella Society. The non-student membership category is capped at three purchases per academic year, subject to the conditions that they remain part of the group for the entire academic year.
